    yeah. damn you TW! i new before i got my truck i wanted a lift. but never new about bumpers other than ARB, or slider or rear bumpers. also i thought spacer lifts wear ok. lol.

    yeah could do that. but also read that it seams like most people that do that still upgrade down the road to icon/king/fox.

    Thanks for the input. I will probably go ahead and buy 5100's all the way around in case I need to jack the front up a little bit. I like the rake of the truck right now, I don't know why everyone worries about the thing being level. We'll see what happens. Now I just gotta figure out wheel/tire size... I want to run 34's, but I don't know if it's possible...

    Gotta do more research!

    run 295/70 or 75. and x1000 on the rake stock rake. i don’t see why everyone worries about it being level either! i don’t really like it “level” any ways. and what is “level” we measuring the wheel wells? or the frame? if your measuring the wheel wells it wont look level because the back is taller/ bigger any ways.

    lol. i was comparing the 285/70 nitto trails to the 295/ 75 i think and they are both 33’s but the 285 is kinda a small 33, and the 295 is still 33 but taller.

    Its easily possible. I have 285/75 and have yet to completely cut my fender well out or do the cab mount chop and I barely rub on the back side of the plastic fender.

    Honestly Zach I think u would be very happy with some toytech coilovers and 5100s. They r by far the best bang for ur buck. Completely adjustable also. And if u decide ur not happy then u can always sell them down the road. I would suggest either Toytechs with 5100s or OME. A lot of people wheel their trucks pretty hard with OME co's and rear springs

    thats probably gonna be what i do when i lift...also, i want your guys opinion on tires. probably next weekend, i'm gonna need to grab a new set, seeing as i broke one...i don't really have the dough to get new wheels, so i'm gonna be sticking with my stock 15s for now. obviously i'd like to go bigger, but i'm trying to be realistic about what i can/should do and what my options are. stock tires are 31-10.50 15. ideally, i would like something about a 32 inch or so, but i can't find anything thats straight up a 32-10.50 15. i have no idea how to understand metric, but i know that 265-75 16 is the biggest i can fit stock. any suggestions/comments?

    For tires Mountain it would depend on if youre looking for an A/T or a M/T. Im really happy with my Cooper Discoverer A/T3's. I got mine in a 265-65/17 instead of a 265-75 but they do come in that size. If youre looking for a M/T / A/T hybrid id get the Nitto Trail Grapplers. Great looking tire, great wear, good for both on and off road. Never had a set but some friends do and they are sick.

    I guess my priorities are...

    1) life of the tire. I don't need to buy another set in 40 or 50 k miles if I can get a set that will last me 70 or 80k...

    2) something that won't kill my mpgs, but that's not necessarily a deciding factor. I can live with a little drop.

    3) offroad performance. Again, that's not a deciding factor because I've been wheeling on nearly bald tires, and I still rarely need 4x4.

    4) looks. I would like an aggressive looking tire, but obviously not at the cost of the above. I also would like bigger tires, but again, I know a lot goes into that other than just will it fit in the fender or not.
