I got one. You may need to buy cutting wheels, I'm not sure what I have accessories wise for it.

Thanks Colby. I'll buy a pack of cutting wheels then.

Do you need special cutting wheels? Might want to check out what I have first and you can make a run to home-repo if needed.

Yeah I was referreing to Garrett. But yeah, does anyone know what a drivecycle is? I just got back from emissions and my computer told the emission tester that my truck "isnt ready" for the test. And now my check engine light just came on again haha. Could any of the guys going next weekend be able to help me figure this out?

The ECU will tell the emissions place if its been reset in the last 24-48 hours (depends on car as my RL would be 48 hours but the wifes civic was 24hours). It's so you can't just reset your ECU when it throws a code to pass emissions. It has to drive around for a day before they allow it.

What code is are you getting from the CEL?

The drive cycle is just a set of parameters the ECU has to go through after resetting the check engine light. Some cars are different than others but it is things like accelerating to a certain speed and/or maintaining a certain speed for a set amont of time. Be careful though because the quote below is directly from AZ Dept of Enviromental Quality

"vehicles may not pass an OBD test if the monitors show the emissions system(s) to be “not-ready”. A vehicle of model year 1996-2000 will be rejected from testing if it is presented to a test station with more than two of the monitors reporting “not-ready”. Model year 2001 and newer vehicles may not have more than one “not-ready” monitor. A vehicle that is rejected two consecutive times for having excessive monitors that are “not-ready” will not be retested at the emission test station unless you contact ADEQ"

Edit: Here is the link to the PDF explaining drive cycles and "not ready" status
    http://www.azdeq.gov/environ/air/vei/download/obd_readiness-monitor-fs.pdf
