    I have a winch. What I don't have is the motivation to get off my lazy ass and wire up the quick connects for it.

    It's in a hitch-attachment cradle so I can winch from either end of the truck.

    Thus far, haven't needed it, but I want it onboard for future trips just for utility.

    I'm trying to think of my to-do list...mainly winch quick connects and dual-battery tray...and I'm probably gonna want a dual battery controller to go with the tray so I can isolate 'em...and I need some rock lights and another backup light...other than that though, getting pretty close to the end of the list.

    Gotcha. I remember you saying some about winching someone up but, I never saw one on the truck. And that explains it.

    Put a strap on 'em. I try not to get into situations where winches are needed if I can help it :eek: I find wheeling more fun than winching.

    I haven't measured at the wheels, but at the shock mounts its about 13.75in.

    At full droop the top of my 33 tire is flush with the bottom of the slider.

    Damn that is some serious travel on a 3" lift. I've got a feeling lots of peeps are gonna be copying your setup.

    It's more like 4.5" in the rear. And I'm nowhere near the first person out there running something like this. It's still relatively rare compared to bolt on stuff though.

    Looks great John!
    I've got a similar setup but not as much lift... running the RCD Billies with 11" of travel.
    Kevin's flip kit is the key.
    Hope to follow in your footsteps with the trac bar too...:cool:
    I take it that solved any axle wrap issues you may have had.

    Flip kit + shock relocation. I think you need at least a 14in shock to maximize droop once the shackles are flipped. But you should definitely have more travel than most back there because stock is what...8" travel shock?

    Yes - that's about right for stock...
    Shock relo is down the road a bit - With that I'll gain back about 1" of uptravel I had to limit in order to not bottom out the Billie...

    Yes. The bushwhackers were sectioned 2" and I took 2 1/4 of sheet metal off the fenders themselves front & rear.
    You know how it is... "if you ain't cuttin....." ;)
