Ok, I have decided to repaint my badges on "Paco the Taco" (trucks new name).

Anything special I need to get the badges off besides besides patience and goof off or something like that?

Any pointers on what NOT to do?

Get some fishing line and a pair of gloves. Run the line behind the badge and "saw" it back and forth. The hotter it is outside the easier the line will cut through the sticky. Then use goo-gone or something similar to remove the remaining sticky on the truck

Pretty sure on the bottle Goof Off says "do not use on paint".. Get bug and tar remover as its safe for paint.

Best way to get badges off.
    1. Hair dryer for about 2min on the badges
    2. Fishing line (thicker the better) then slice them bitches clean off.
    3. Get good 3m tape, they make a kit for badges
    4. Don't worry about the chrome.. Primer holds to it just fine or use Krylon Fusion

Good luck. I've painted mine about 4 times already just changing up colors. Taping them off is the crappy part.

On a different note, My boss just called to inform me that he will be gone for a week.

I guess he was planning a vacation and just now remembered to tell me. He also just now decided to give me a 50 item "to do list" which I completed all but 2 of...... last week.

So in other words, it is going to be a clusterfuck of a week without him around to control the other coaches, and I will have jack shit to do all week.

...... so who is going to stop by with some fishing line so I can start on my truck?

Is the seat back interior like a grey layered mesh? If so... probably the TRD. If it's more normal cloth-ish with white in the pattern or so, normal bucket.

People do swap the seats out on occasion, some prefer the TRDs, some prefer the non TRDs... Personally I prefer the TRD

TRD seats have a slight cutout across the top between the ends where the headrests go, non-TRD is flat across the top with rounded ends on the lowback

Been following it for a quite a while. I found they didn't market it as well as other Redbull events. Maybe it was just like that in Canada:notsure:
