    caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
    those of you who have experience in adjusting dual rate coilovers. for the top spring i need to set where the top spring will bottom out, so i spun (sorry dont know what they are called) the little ring on the shock body down to where i need it, easily done by my fingers, then you have the top ring that is supposed to lock that one in place, this one is way harder. i used a hammer and a punch to turn it, then it got to the same point on both sides and will not budge at all anymore. but the bottom ring i can spin freely everywhere??

    i have seen some modify the rings with a set screw to lock them in place, but im sure you would have noticed that

    sometimes king puts an oring between the two adjustment rings, maybe you spun the rings right over it and they just happen to lock up at the same point..
    only thing i could think of since both the rings are the same.
    on some of the ttb fords ive done i dont even use the rate adjuster.

    if the upper rings are in the right place just tighten the lower ring into it and problem solved for now

    Thats it Eric, I did notice a small piece of rubber coming out of the threads of the upper when trying to move it down. I almost guarantee we threaded it over the oring. We stopped when it started getting difficult to make sure we didnt mess anything up. Thanks

    i was unsure if i wanted the bolt on top ones or the pinch cans so i got the bolt in style... wont see much black lol but im unsure on how im gonna mount it haha

    front. my C/Os are King, my bypasses are SAW. The King body is longer than the SAW body. same 8" stroke but different shock bodies.

    right i saw a little piece of rubber coming out of 1 side too.
    so how do i get the rubber o-ring out of it?
    do i need to get a new rubber o-ring?

    Your going to want to move the adjuster back up and it should come out, then see what the oring looks like. Once you move the oring down by hand you should be able to spin the top one like the bottom does
