This was the only Mustang I have ever personally owned, but I grew up with them. Pete belonged to my grandma, and when she passed away, I got him. He sat for like eight or nine years in the back yard before I got him- Dad had disabled him so my grandma couldn't drive any more, so it took a bit to get him back on the road.
I grew up in Mustangs, though. Since I have been alive, my dad owned a yellow '73 Mach 1, (wrecked) a gray/silver '79 Cobra, (traded for a computer, wtf?) a black '76, (wrecked) a '67 fastback, (wrecked) an '88, (destroyed by Hurricane Isabel) and then a green '68 fastback (sold when my youngest brother was born.) So I grew up with a lot of the older Stangs.

What year is yours? Does it run?

Well I haven't had any of the older ones all though I do really want to get a 66 fastback and do a ground up resto. The current stang I have is a 94' 5.0 with a full H/C/I she is pretty much just my weekend warrior strip/street car. Has 112K original miles and never touched the bottom end just the heads cam intake and all of the supporting mods....

Only 112k? Wow, man! She's still young! :) That's one of my least favorite years, but it's clean, and you made it look good with those rims, I must say. That Stang has a lot of life left ahead of it.
Pete was at 222,001 when he died. :p

Me and my best friend are restoring this exact truck right now, just it is red and gray. I always thought it was a damned beautiful truck.

Truth be told. I loved that truck. On a good day it would drive up, over, through, or on top of anything. But I just could NOT keep it running. Needed to be completely overhauled, plus it had gaping rust holes in the bed. *sigh*

    Whatever, my Taco's a huge improvement! :)
