I use them on the deserted back roads :anonymous:

I've got my lights switched with my high beams so they're easy to use on the road.

I just aimed mine and keep them on (when they work) with my headlights. Are you saying that your driving lights only work with your high beams?

Yep. The way they're currently wired, the center 2 lights will ONLY come on when the high beams are on and the switch is on. The outside 2 lights can be turned on whenever the ignition is on. My lights will outshine my high beams so I can't keep them on with the low beams or if traffic is approaching. The outter 2 lights are aimed pretty wide also.

I have new switches at my house though and will have them re-wired shortly. The new switches are double pole, double throw (on-off-on). The new wiring scheme will still keep the center 2 on one switch and the outter 2 on another switch. When the switch is in the up-on position, the lights will come on when the high beams are on, when the switch is in the down-on position, the lights will turn on as long as the ignition is on.

Anyone have a idea of what to do for new wheels. I wanna buy some but I'll need new tpms. Stupid design from Toyota I think. They want 450 for new tpms. Give me a break. I just wanna get new wheels and there making it hard. Grrrr

Some shops have had luck turning the TPMS 180 degrees and getting them to mount in an alloy wheel. Another option is wheel straps (basically a large steel strap that holds the sensor to the middle of the rim rather than on the valve stem. Last option, ditch the TPMS sensors and keep them in a wheel barrel tire underneath the back seat to keep the dash light off.

Also, don't buy the sensors through the dealership... buy them used on here, they will be significantly cheaper.

Yeah I heard you could change it 180 degrees but idk if a shop would do that. My luck, I get the wheels and no shop wants to do it lol. I was looking into the wheel straps but I heard they easily fall off and can damage the tpms. But that's just what I heard. Idk. I'll have to see what I can do. I don't wanna mess with the tpms cause its a fairly new truck and don't wanna mess anything up if I don't have too you know

Yeah but you didn't have the steel wheels did you? I have the steel ones so whatever I change to, I have to change them over as we'll. unless I rotate them like pugg said and hope that they for fall off lol
