Dropping off the truck at a dealer in an hour or so. They are giving me a car to drive around tomorrow and they are going to "inspect" the truck relative to my "harsh ride under heavy load" complaint.

Debating on whether or not I should leave the TSB on the passenger seat with a note telling them I found it online. Thoughts?

I'd let them figure it out first. Then, if they give you a hard time, present the TSB paperwork to them.

Yes, you should. That way they know your concern is a known issue and they may be able to address it quicker.

Call them and tell them upon researching your harsh ride condition you found a TSB for it where Toyota has recognized a problem. No need to be sneaky with notes and stuff, lol ;)

Leaning toward waiting for a phone call tomorrow saying that there was "no issue found" and then coming back with the TSB # over the phone if it goes that way... Still not sure though.

If there is already a TSB out then there is no reason why they don't know or should not know about it, so you might just as well mention it to them when you drop the truck off. That way they know that you know, and there is no b.s.'ing around.

First play stupid and ask them to see if there are any TSB and then and if they do nothing or give you BS answer, ask again if they checked….if they say there weren't any…. show them there is indeed one, report them to toyota corp and take your truck to another dealer….
i did it with a Honda that had SB on the Clutch master cylinder. I complaint and Honda sent me $150 certificate for Parts and Services.

Tell them straight up that you are experiencing harsh ride with some load, and became aware of the TSB while searching online for a solution. Then ask them if that is the solution to the poor ride/ bottoming that you are experiencing.

I brought the TSB bulletin papers, all 18 pages, and they told me straight up that they'll take care of it, took 2 days to get the part very quick didn't give me a hard time. Reason why I always go to Longo, biggest dealer in the nation and so far exceptional customer service. Thank god their 10 mins from my house lol.

Well... Decided to mention a TSB I found online that was eerily similar to my harsh ride issue. Probably didn't matter anyway because the lady at the service desk simply responded "they will look for that sort of thing when the inspection is done", and otherwise disregarded the statement. Meh... we'll see.

Anyway, here's the temporary taco replacement...

Not overly impressed with the 0-60 time...

They said I was 1200 miles over my extended warranty and would do nothing, both from the dealership and toyota customer service.

Yup, and that way it also lets them know you have an issue with the ride, rather than found out about the TSB and decided you needed it, like the crowd that thinks TSBs are recalls.
