Had Intralase (bladeless LASIK) about a month and a half ago. Was -3.75 in both eyes and now I'm 20/15 (better than 20/20) in both. Recovery was fast. Went very smoothly. Best advice is don't skimp on the surgeon/facility you choose. Look around and choose the most experienced/reputable in your area.

They said my prescription was middle of the road for LASIK, so yours is definitely well within the bounds of LASIK success.

yeah, i talked to my main eye doctor last week when i went in. and he said also it’s i would be good because my eyes have not really changed in 5+ years, stays right at -2.75 or -2.50 so i should have no problem having it done. only thing that may stop me is the thickness of my cornea.

That soon after, your eyes are still healing. They heal quick.. things should be a lot better even now 2 days later. Keep on the drops as directed..last thing you need is infection.

Has anyone had Lasik or PRK done to correct only slight myopia? My prescription is -1.25 in both eyes. I have about 20/60 without correction. I wear glasses and contacts and just find them really annoying, especially when I want to be outside. I have heard conflicting things about having corrective surgery for only slight nearsightedness.

    Paleus,

The clinic I went to offers free consultations, which includes a full eye exam, suggested procedures and price. If you aren't a candidate they explain why and send you on your way. It could be that your prescription is too weak to risk the procedure. A friend of mine I work with was turned down for this reason.
Check with some clinics, I'm sure they offer something similar.

    For what it's worth, I was -4.50.

Dry air doesn't help that... Being at work in HVAC circulated air was horrible for a little while. Things should come around for you soon enough. Until then, keep smashing those drops to ya.

Keep on the drops, my eyes were dry but it tapered off over 6 months. Just follow the doctor's instructions to the letter and you'll be fine. Had mine done 7 years ago, no regrets and still seeing 20/15
