Have you heard of this lift kit?

I did a search and couldn't find anything about this kit.
What do you think? too good to be true?

I had it, would never buy it again. I like to go off road with my truck and this is not the kit for that to say the least. when I pulled mine off one of the studs was broken in half being held in-place by rust only, and the two others broke off as I was unbolting the spacers. I'm not saying this kit is a bad kit, just dont expect it to hold up when beating on it off road.

What issues would i have if i happen to drive my truck?

I drive 95% of the time on paved roads (city streets and highways) and 5% on dirt roads. I bought my truck mainly for baseball equipment. I manage two teams and coach on another. I like the lifted/big tires look on trucks and that's why I want to lift my truck, not for offroading.

I have that kit;no problems;20k miles & ball joints are fine.I am 2wd & rarely go offroad & if I do it's just light trails.I also am very anal about the upkeep on my truck.Anyone serious about their truck & wheelin it would do their homework about suspension lifts and go with quality coilovers instead of spacers to reduce damage when wheelin.Spacer lifts are for looks & the street & can be done right.There are some who bash them,but they were either installed improperly or abused & used for the wrong purpose.

 

So it wouldn't it be a problem if there was no off-roading involved??

 

im getting those adjustable bilstein 5100's. I don't want to have to worry about nothin! nor sacrifice ride quality.

 

I've got the extremetrucktoys lift, 27K miles and no breakage so far. Definately make some weird noises on occasion, especially when mobbing around offroad. As such, I'm switching lifts as soon as I have the money to do so.

 

I have had no problems.I also have TC UCA's,285/70/17's,& 1" block in rear w/Bilstein 5125 extended length shocks,and Spidertrax 1.25" wheel adapters front & rear.As I said b4;don't use this lift if your going wheelin;spend the money on quality suspension components.

 

Hey buzz. Is there any particular reason you chose to use a spacer lift? I am just asking because it seems it wasn't a budget thing so I am curious!

 

dont think that top rear shock mount is in the right position. maybe turn it 90degrees.

Nope, sure don't want to be one of them. I'll go with the 5100's

Now lets go look for some wheels and tires. I have my mind set on MM's 951 on black.

buzz5 those rear shocks r upside down man.they go that way on 1st gen.someone correct me if im wrong.

 

its amazing he hasnt had any problems with all that with a spacer on the billys

 

?? about the shocks/coils not being right?? Blue is up on mine- Is there something else I'm not seeing??
