[FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Jonathan Stewart, who set the Ducks' single-season rushing record as a junior in 2007 (1,722 yards) before being drafted with the 13th overall pick by the Carolina Panthers, has announced he will contribute $250,000 toward the construction of the state-of-the-art Casanova Center expansion project, which will house the athletic department's entire football operations.[/FONT]

Satan hates auburn. How do I know? Coach Chizik's wife said so...

She made another post later trying to clarify that she was NOT saying that satan was making auburn lose.

My favorite part is where she lumps Occupy Wall Street, the Egyptian uprising and the Kony 2012 movement (though she spelled it Konya) all together with FLASH MOBS.

 

It's only a matter of time before satan, himself, snatches her and her husband away to some high school program in North Dakota.

 

Hey Georgia guys...................who's the Georgia State Panthers?


It looks like our scheduling for 2015 is a cluster fuck of sissies again. Georgia State and Eastern Washington!!!! For fuck sake!

I guess I can't say that yet because I don't know anything about the Panthers, AND "IF" we make it to the natty and win (which is an uphill battle) Chip will leave for the NFL!


Georgia State’s football team is jumping into its FBS era with both feet.
The Panthers, who will be led by a new coach, will play at Alabama and West Virginia, two teams that could play for the national championship this year, in 2013.

Those opponents, combined with joining the Sun Belt Conference next year 2013, will be the toughest schedule the Panthers have played in their short history.

With 40,000 students it is second only to the University of Georgia.

Since 2008 it has been part of the Colonial Athletic Association conference.

Currently an FCS team, the Panthers are 0-6 and have not lost a game by fewer than 21 points. They will be an FBS team and a member of the Sun Belt in 2013 when they play Alabama and West Virginia.

Former Alabama coach Bill Curry has served as the program's one and only football coach since 2008, but he won't be the coach next season. He announced his retirement, effective at the end of this season, in August. A replacement has not yet been named by Georgia State.

In 2013 Georgia State will play in Morgantown, West Va. in its first game against a Big 12 team on Sept. 14 and at Alabama on Oct. 5. The Panthers will receive $550,000 for the game against the Mountaineers and $700,000 for the game against Tide. It will be the second time Georgia State has played at Alabama. They were beaten 63-7 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2010.

Those aren’t the only challenging games the Panthers have scheduled. They will play at Oregon, which has become a perennial national power, in 2015. They will receive $900,000 for the game. In between, the Panthers will host Air Force in 2014 and then finish the home-and-home series in Colorado Springs in 2016.

This game will complete the 2015 schedule for the Ducks, who have already scheduled a home contest with FCS Eastern Washington, and a trip to East Lansing to face Michigan State of the Big Ten. The Ducks currently need a single home game to complete the 2014 schedule in which they already have home contests with Wyoming and Michigan State. They have zero games currently under contract for 2016, a year in which they need three home games.
0-6 Georgia State lost at Tennessee earlier this 2012 season, and lost to New Hampshire (Chip's old school) last Saturday in the Georgia Dome.

 

They're nobody. Lol. Second largest school in the state (first is UGA, third is (as of a couple years ago) my Alma Mater Kennesaw State), but definitely not a football school. My buddy actually played baseball on scholarship there for a year or 2. That's about all I know about em

Yeah this is another scrub team. Their football program was founded in 2010, if that says anything. Could still beat the LOLburn battle pigeons, though.
