I know people are going to laugh, but my background is a pic of my parents. This pic was taken on their 25th Anniversary, May 2nd. This is the only picture I have of my parents smiling, so it is special to me. My mom has a hard time smiling, because she had a stroke (her facial muscles are screwed up), but she managed the first smile I have seen in years for this picture- and the smile was entirely voluntary. The little tree in the picture is one that my four siblings and I bought them. It is supposed to symbolize our family- something that, with their nurturing and love, will grow into something beautiful.
I know this post is sappy, but it's true. And my parents mean more to me than anything else in the world, even my truck, my friends, and myself, so this was the perfect background.
