    Point is the cost of a normal pair of sunglasses (says it is made in the US) dosent need to be $100. This guy was saying that we dont see anything wrong in owning the market, and if you dont like it, we will force you out of business and buy you out.     I love how he avoided the question about why so many brands, and why not unite everything under 1 name. Maybe because it would become obvious they have a monopoly and the sheep would realize they don't really have a choice? :rolleyes: And they're only as expensive as we're willing to pay?? What a fucking load of shit. It's not that I was willing to pay $300 for my glasses, $200 for my daughter's, and $200 for my wife's AFTER insurance. It's that we didn't have a choice. Either we saved money from 2 paychecks, or my wife and daughter couldn't see more than 3 feet in front of them. All for something we *could* have bought for $100 or less without insurance?! :mad:

    The guy said his biggest competitors were Wal-Mart and Costco. Saw an ad for Wal-Mart just yesterday with glasses starting around $34 or so.

    I guess if you didn't want to do business with this guy, you know where to go now. Lots of people talk bad about Wal-Mart, but every now and then, they do come through on a few things.

    I do my vision at Walmart, and that is the only thing I do there that's reoccuring. I don't go there for groceries unless I'm in the neighborhood and need one thing.

    Their Eye Docs are pretty good and the prices are very good. I was bummed with my doc quit and I got a new one. Went from a Chesty Brunette to a little old Asian lady.
