Well I would like to start off by saying none of this would have happend without TW. So a shout out to everyone who has posted hints, tips, and what nots. So saturday I drove 2 hours to Winnipeg to get my windows tinted. Matched the fronts up with the backs and it looks awesome and I am super happy. Today I have taken the task of blacking out my headlights. What a nightmare!! But the paint is drying as we speak and I think it will turn out well. Only broke 2 clips and a small piece of plastic off the back of the light while figuring out that metal clip. Needless to say after some frustration and a couple of temper tantrums I have taught myself something new and feel pretty good about it. I gotta go put another coat of paint on now. Hope the rest runs smooth.
    I will post pics tonight.

The first one is where I broke a small bit of plastic from the back of the lamp unit. Dont ask why.

How long should I wait for the paint to dry before I put them back together?

I've read over the tutorial a few times and am getting familiar with it, but do you guys have any recommendations/hints before taking on this endeavor? I don't like the sound of "this mod is such a bitch" but I'm not gong to back down from it, haha... I'm planning to do it once I have a free day or two.

    Yep.
I let mine sit over night, but I would say id depends on your own timeframe. A couple hours should be fine. Did you use Krylon Fusion? that cures pretty fast.

Edit - and a heads up, be careful when you are putting it back in the cover. it will scratch and chip easy. heard this happen to a couple guys.

Yeah I used Krylon Fushion. Would it cure faster if I bake it in the oven at a low temp? Started to rain here so the RH is up. WOuld like to have it togther by tonight but dont want to rush it.

Ok here they are. The finished product of a long weekend. Tinted front windows and backed out headlights. :D:D:bananadance::bananadance: Other than a few small chips in the black paint all is good and I am happy with the results.
