Whats the build time on a 2013 Scion tC RS 8.0 HomerTaco grill?

 

Damn, Ive been working so much that I totally forgot about my grill being done soon. Keep up the great work but take your time. Ive waited this long for a great product and I can wait a little longer.

 

I thought all Canadians were nice?

 

Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses or a horse-sized duck?

I should probably specify, 2 hit & runs and 2 people driving into me and their insurance fixing it.

 

I'd go with the 100 duck sized horses option...

Bottom line - the balance of the current build will be shipping this coming Monday.


I'll have some help from Mrs.Taco to knock them out.

My issue is this - the pain from the tendon is only really bothersome when i have to grasp onto something with force for an extended period of time (like holding pliers).

With an extra pair of hands it is 100% easier to assemble these.

Unfortunately Mrs.Taco has been pretty busy this week and has not been available to assist - but that's not the case this weekend.

Another minor delay was the fact that up until this batch I have been building the raptor grills as "one-off's" - meaning each has been built as a stand alone project.
This batch has two of them which has allowed me to take advantage of templating the parts to attempt to "standardize" some of the production process.

I'm going to have some pretty significant changes coming soon to the lists and the build processes as well as the following:

- I'm going to separate out the Raptor Grills from the main build list in this thread and dedicate that work to the other "raptor" thread.

- Soon I'll have a dedicated phone # for members to reach out if needed.

- I'll get with Bob to change the name of the sub forum to my Company name and not just my screen name.

- I'll be introducing new custom mesh inserts for the FJ Cruiser.

Also you may notice that the next batch has been updated to "in production" as well... This simply means that all the surrounds have been sent to paint already as well as all the mesh sent to powdercoat.

This thing has grown so much from just simply building a few grills in my spare time.

Really Craig, don't push it, let it heal. You have a great product and I would hate to see you injure yourself more, because of pressure. And I am in no hurry to spend this kind of money

You Sir are the MAN! Sorry about your pain but thats awesome your wife is there to help out as well ill sub to that raptor thread whenever its up and will be checkin out the FJ stuff as well! Nice new sig pic btw!
