    The Jeep dealer is replacing my torque converter and trans pump. I did not even have to fight with them. Now, to take the PT Loser back until the parts come in.

    I know legally you don't. Based on the Napoleanic Code established in 1804, a "Deposit is by definition non-refundable".

    I dont see anywhere that says you must. May just tell him you lost other interest in it due to his backing out so you are keeping it, or only refund half the deposit and say the other half is restocking fees :drevil:
