Just a couple tips for peps who haven't been to glamis before..

First off where we are camping is ranger central.. they L O V E giving tickets.
you will pass right by the ranger station to get to our camp.
-Ive seen them give tickets for no front licence plate.
-Make sure if you touch dirt (outside of your camp) you have a whip/ flag
-make sure all your taillights and brake lights work on your trucks or offroad vehicles
    -NO GLASS BOTTLES
    - no pallets
    - 15MPH within 50 feet of parked vehicles and camps (got pulled over for that one)
    - current registration on all you vehicles on and offroad (we got rolled last year in the race trucks)
    - There IS a store out there, but they are super expensive ($10 showers), also tons of vendors for food, supplies, and parts/ accessories
-There is a freshwater canal that is really close to camp that we usually go twice a day to dunk in, if its hot as shit out.. its illegal to do it but we always keep a look out.. probably the best feeling when your hot, sweaty, and dirty.
Hassim from Engage usually goes in naked so there plenty of opportunities to go skinny dipping with him
-if everyone can bring a little fire wood we could have a good fire every night. it gets cold at night sometimes (don't know about this time of year)
    - in the past we usually would go to olds in the morning, chill there for a few hours, head back for lunch, then possibly back to olds, then back to camp.
-every evening right before sunset theres the Sand drags, close to camp, thats pretty insane to watch or even run yourself. and then a final run to olds later that night. keeps the day interesting. The trip to olds is a blast, any 2wd truck could do it no problem.
    - having communication is really nice for calling out oncoming traffic out there for all the peps on quads and bikes..
-Also, the town of Brawley is where we normally get the groceries. theres a ralphs there, prices are normal. also lots of gas stations there to top everything off...
The sand will eat up your gas in your truck so bring extra if you can.. Brawley is about 30-40 mins from camp, so if you dont want to run back and forth, stock up on everything.
lol thats about all I can think of tonight.

I plan on heading out somewhat early Thursday morning if anyone in the OC or LA area wants to caravan out.. shoot me a text 562 631 0949

    -Kit
