the spacers go where the middle of the drive shaft bolts up with the carier bearing, in the middle of the drive shaft basically.

Sorry, but I have to add that carrier bearing or is a OEM piece?

Maybe, the other owner take that piece out?

It's an OEM piece...I think it would be between your second and third photos...A short drive shaft coming from the back of the t-case going back...a carrier bearing...and then the longer angled driveshaft to the rear diff.

Where did you get the spring packs with 7 leafs in them? Seems they would give us more weight carrying capacity and possibly prevent the axle wrap somewhat.

Actually... I'm waiting for a pair of RANCHO Shim's of 2.5 degree's. But today the dealer change the complete driveshaft. And I was looking some info about the Fitting Kit of OME to prevent the life of my new driveshaft.

This is my first TACOMA... It's a 2006... Is everything okay? Is that the OEM driveshaft?

Makes sense to me...Shorter wheelbase wouldn't need it.

I had a 77 Lincoln town car that had similar issues after I tried to replace the joints in the drive shaft and ended up taking it to a good driveline shop to correct. The shop only did drivelines and really knew how to install them correctly. Here is a link to a similar joint being fixed in a van. The driveline has to be spot on or it will vibrate. It has to be aligned from the bearing to the diff. If it is off at all you will feel the vibes.

OK i know this is NOOB talk and i am sure it has been said but how much play is it supost to have? I have had my truck lifted for almost 3 years now and 3 weeks ago I started to have a slit shutter from 0-5 mph! I emailed the guy that makes the drop brackets and he said it mite just be wore out so what is to much play? I reason i ask is because i have started to drive my truck more the last few months and am going on a road trip to cali next weekend! thanks guys for any help! :)

I was going to attempt a reply to this post that would be useful to you. The lack of punctuation has discouraged me. I have no clue where to start and stop quoting!

    Good luck.
