    Bigger ice = less hitting, by a lot - I checked the KHL site for the stats of the Lev vs Dynamo and they don't even track hits! Totally different kind of play over there, lots of cycling holding the puck waiting for someone to be open, then repeat. The only goal in the Lev/Dynamo game was Ovechkin and it was a missed call by the ref (wouldn't let the Lev goalie freeze the puck so he gave it to Ovi)

    I think the funniest thing was Barry Melrose and Steve Levy commentating the game from somewhere in the U.S.

    Levy: "Josef Jandač is the head coach for Lev Praha. What do you know about him, Barry?"

    Melrose: "Not a thing, Steve. I'm not going to sit here and lie to the audience."

    Well you recognize Marcel because of his brother (Marcel isn't 1/2 as good)! The game play looks like a cross between a non-contact all star game and a pick-up game where the puck carrier has about 30 dekes before passing to someone else who cycles the offensive zone 2 times. It's like watching the Princeton men's basketball team on ice.
