I am going to paint my 07 silver Tacoma TRD Off Road wheels this weekend what is the strongest spray paint because i do a lot of off roading. I cant afford new wheels at the moment but want something to hold me over for now. Also flat black or gloss black.

You picked the two opposite ends of the spectrum with that one...Flat and Gloss are opposite finishes almost.

Duplicolor makes a Gloss Black wheel paint that will probably stand up fairly well...I used regular Duplicolor rattle can so I could use Satin Black. Prep it right and it will stand up great.

I am going to touch mine up for the first time soon- and it's been a year and the "touch ups" are minor pinstripes (need to polish/wax the truck to get rid of those pinstripes too)

we just painted 05prerunner's truck at the last socal mod day, check his gallery, he used flat black krylon, you can allways touch them up if they get scratched, join us at the next mod day and paint them there if unseure.

    New truck....so nothing yet
Sand your rims down a little and use adhesion promotor to help bond the paint. I used actual wheel paint and it has held up pretty well. I used a high pressure washer and it did not affect it at all. Also, take your time and do several coats. I also finished mine with clear coat just to be safe and I painted the insides too.

    yup. :D

Here's a pic of them painted:

Painting is easy.. we washed them, sanded, cleaned them up with a "tack cloth", hit it with a few coats of primer, then on the paint

Are you doing this with tires on or off the wheels?

+1...Totally doable with the tires still on. Index Cards/Tape and Paper work fine to mask off the rubber.
