    this, i was going to have just an out line of a taco like the so cal and others do. sticker would be all white to cut the cost down and most colors all ways fade and look like shit. white stickers stay looking nice a lot longer.

    not too too bad...but it could have been a lot better. when i eventually get billies/eibachs, it will be a looooot better.

    little? push. 3” in just lift, and like 1.5” or so from tires. so some where between 4” and 5” of total lift.

    So....don't kill me....but there is a 1995 f150 with a 302 small block, SAS, new drivetrain, 180k miles, 3 inch body lift and 6 inch suspension,the guy wants 3k for it. Bad idea or might be a good off road truck to keep the taco nice? Also somethin I could take to the redneck resort.....

    Sounds like a decent mud truck. How many miles on the motor!? Im sure it has been beat to shit. Lockers front/rear? Stock trans? What gears? What size tires? What kinda tires? Have u driven it?

    180k miles on motor, I believe he said front and rear lockers, looked like 33's (looked pretty small and worn out, said it would need an alignment). I can't remember if he said new transmission or not. I have no idea what gears and I have not driven it, just called about it today.

    I wouldn't buy it. Sounds like a money pit. I see this same shit all the time. Its a ”cheap” price for what ur looking for which is a toy, the only problem with that is toys, especially worn toys, require maintenance and a lot of love. And ull buy it and think its perfect until u take it through a few mud holes and the motor starts acting up, or the trans isnt shifting right, or u snap an axle and go to replace it and see that u need a whole new rear end. And before u know it, uve got a big pile of shit in ur front yard that u don't give a fuck about enough to put the real money in it that is required to actually enjoy it. Am I right or wrong?

    Very good points, I kinda just saw an SAS'd f150 with a 302 and thought :drool: they usually do turn out to be a lot of work. I should probably pass this up. Thanks for the input!

    Im not telling u not to get it, im just saying u have to put stuff like that into perspective. U know the reason why my truck looks like it does . . . . . Because I care to put the money and time into. I have a 95 single cab yota that has sat in my yard for 4 years now. U know why . . . . . . Because I don't care enough to put the money and time into. Its a personal thing for everyone. Some people don't like offroading what they drive everyday, I like driving what I offroad so my money and care goes into my new truck. Im just sayin think about it

    Yeah, it'd probably turn out to be a lot more money than expected anyways. And if you go through a water or mud crossing that is deeper than the door pannels, is water going to get in the cab?
