Yea, for anyone that hasn't started to install fronts yet, do yourself a favor and remove the seats. There's only 4 bolts per seat. Driver's seat you have to pull one wire snap harness and unplug 3 connectors. Passenger's side you only have to unplug 2 connectors. Remove the seat and lay it on the tailgate. 30 minutes max including reinstall and you can get the covers stretched tight and all the cords tucked away perfect. I wrestled with my driver's side for more than 30 minutes before I finally decided to just take the damn thing out.

I haven't done the rears yet. As for the rear head rests, would it be easier to remove the lever, pull the cover all the way down, and just cut a small hole for the lever? I did this for my lumbar knob on the driver's seat and it worked great (btw, knob just pulls off).

As for the center console cover, I'm not completely sold on this yet. I found it hard to position it where it looked right and didn't obstruct closing the lid or covering up the release button. I may just take mine back off since my console is black (2012).

For the center console, I wasn't sure either but what I found works best is that the V shaped seam goes to the back and I tucked the elastic down over the push button. It closes fine and opens fine, just don't let the elastic get into the "catch". Did they charge you more to have full gray? I thought it HAD to come with black sides with your choice of center.... man, if that was the case, I would have done something different.

Oh okay, got it. Thanks. I didn't want piping, no wonder it wasn't a choice for me.

Honestly, I hadn't really considered taking off the lever and cutting a hole. Something just doesn't sit right with me cutting these covers. However, that does seem like the best idea. I need to go pull the lumbar knob off, need to get that cover sitting nice right there. Did your driver side not come with a notch for the lumbar knob already?

I'm with you about the console. I want it on there, but will need to figure out the best way to have it sitting there.

Babytruck - I actually didn't ask about the console cover color. I just assumed it would come the same color as my full piping background, and got lucky. It wasn't any extra

Whoops I wasn't clear. I mean the seat covers, not the console in terms of color. I understood that the edges of the seats would be black with your choice of center color of the seats. I see that you can get all one color seats (outside edges being a different color than black) if you have full piping.

Nope, no notch or hole for the lumbar knob, so I made my own. Their on-line instructions for bucket seats actually recommend this. Just stretch the cover over the stub for the knob like you want the cover positioned. Pinch a small amount of material exactly where the stub is and cut a pencil size hole with a razor knife or scissors. The material will stretch around the stub. Just don't make the hole too big.

I'm thinking the same thing will work for the rear headrest levers.

I haven't touched the rears yet. Did you remove the seats like the instructions say to do?

Nope...but I also didn't read the instructions. Oops. However, I will probably remove the rear seat backs to put these covers on better. They're 98% on, but it's that extra 2% that I know will bug me!

My covers finally arrived and overall I like the look (black and charcoal with have piping and black TRD logo). I do have some issues though. I use the compartments behind the rear seats pretty often so I'm unhooking the rear seats for access a lot. When I do this there is a lot of rubbing against either seat. This pulls the covers and causes wrinkles where I have to adjust them each time. Pretty annoying.

While installing the first seat and tightening the 3rd strap, the clip broke (picture attached). I'll contact WO in the morning to see if they can send me a replacement clip.

The install was much harder than I thought it was going to be; I can barely feel my hands they're so numb. After working on my first front seat for 45 min I decided to just unbolt the seat and run the straps underneath. It's nearly impossible to properly install the front seat covers without doing this, IMO.

Finally, the "coin catcher" thing is such a PITA. I had to cut the straps holding it to the seat, then flip it up and duct tape it (as was suggested earlier). I'm a little ocd so things like that bother the heck out of me. We certainly can't blame WO for that one; there's no other way around it.

I have one more front seat to do in the morning and I'll be done. Will post pics afterwards.

I know, I wish the coin catcher had hooks that held the elastic strap so that we didn't have to cut them. I thought it was pathetic until I found a penny under my seat lol.

Anyone installed the rear headrests yet? I took the lever off (2013) to pull the cover over, and there's about 1.5-2 inches of space between the headrest and cover on both the left and right sides; front to back, the cover is tight. As snug as the other pieces fit, I'm pretty sure this isn't correct. I'll contact WO about it to see what they say.

I'm kinda suprised that after spending upwards of $250 on these seat covers to protect the seats, people end up putting Duct Tape on the seat for the installation. That will make a gooey mess on the factory seat after a while. However, if your seats are already trashed, it makes sense.

Letting mine air out until installation. I thought about washing with baby shampoo then drying, but I'm too lazy.

I agree about that duct tape. These covers are really expensive and we shouldn't have to cut anything on the original seat or apply duct tape to anything. They should just fit. My seats are in great shape as it is. I used minimal duct tape on the corners to prevent that gooey mess one day. Still erks me though.
