4.56 in an auto V6 with 33's is great. That what I ran and loved it - I have 35's now and wish I went with 4.88's...

definitely over gear as others have said!

I have an 05 double cab with Allpro apex front & rear bumpers, 3'' rear expedition lift, Camburg 4'' spindles running 275/65R20 and boy oh boy can I feel the difference in my truck on the highway with the stock gears. I do about 75miles a day four days a week just for work. Im considering a re-gear for my truck but I'm not sure what gearing to go with? I'm probably gonna go with a bigger after these and coilovers. I think a lot to do with my truck being sluggish is the weight I've added...

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Is there anything between 4.10 and 4.56?
    Looking at 34s soon.

4.30 is the in-between ratio. I'm thinking of putting those on mine with 33"s, just a little worried about highway gas mileage loss.

3 inch revtek in coil spacer, all pro bumper, smittybuilt 8000 winch, 265/75/17 BFG AT, cookie monster stuffed animal in bumper... UPDATE 10/17/12.... OME886 Coil lift with spacer. UPDATE 9/6/13..... Plasti dipped 17inch eagle alloy wheels. 285/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs, 6 bulb rigid industries LED D2 lights
So.. I was gonna do 285s and maybe a set of 305 or 315 for trail runs. I commute maybe around 90 miles a day 5 days a week. I average 17ish miles a gallon on 265/75/17 but was gonna go to 285/75/16 ( going back to stock size rims ) should I regear? Will I lose horsepower and/or torque if I do or don't? ( not the sharpest tack in the box when it comes to certian things )

Yeah out this way I cruise at 80 for HOURS, so even though 4.88s would be nice just too many RPMs.

That's just like my opinion man.

So seems like 4.88 for us guys with the automatic v6's is a pretty good match?
