Not trying to be a dick but i wouldnt even try to get the 35s on before you go. To do it right, its going to take a long time and its nice not having to be in a hurry. Your gonna have to pull the shock and test fit the tire multiple times and then seal it up because you will most likely end up tearing the pinch weld to where you can see inside the cab. Plus your going to have to trim the fenders front and rear which took me a very tedious 2-3 hours. Not trying to ruin your hopes, just trying to help so you dont get in over your head and then not be able to make it wheeling.

well there are multiple trails...it can be done in half a day but that is with 2 people. i went with a groupd of 4-5 and did half of it.

well i will probably trim some on fenders and front bumper, about 1"-2" for some more flex and also to get rid of the the fender damage on the driver front. i do plan on glassworks in maybe a month or 2:) keep it on the DL!!! also plan on hammering the rest of the pinch weld and some of the inner fender. i dont plan on doing it all day. just till everybody gets to the house and chit chat for a few. then head out. did you have to do anything in the rear fenders?

If you can fit them, then can we put them on mine? I'll crank the torsion bar up some.
On a side note we are going to trussville this weekend right? If so, I can meet yall by the BP on 119 going to leeds.

I mostly trimmed on the rear fenders. I didnt have to do much to the front as far as trimming goes besides the front bumper and kinda flared the fender towards the door at the corner if that makes any sense.

The rear you will need to do the whole thing or it will rub purty bad. I actually didnt take enough out. I only trimmed an inch and it still rubbed. I would recomend getting as close to the gas cap as you can, say 2-3'', and then just trim that much on the passenger side also.

Good luck, it took me a solid day but i wasnt in a very big hurry at all.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
He's too good for us now. I can't even get him to go wheeling with me anymore.

Hey Justin, do you see a difference in MPG between your duratracs and your daily tires?

yep but not much because when i switched to my daily drivers i also switched my daily drive. no more interstate. but according to my ultragauge i picked up .5 mpg, i still need to calibrate it though for tire size, but then it shouldnt matter since i run the same on the authorities as i do the DD.

main advantage is the smoother ride and less road noise.
