With the new bigger tires they grab every dip in the road. Truck has been aligned to proper specs since lift and tires were put on. I know we have rack and pinion but is there anything else that can be done?

I think its possible, here is an IFS F150 with a FAbCrap stabilizer on it, just need shocks of appropriate length. I think I am going to have at it.DSC05687_b3ed4bfecb0afa3bac92298b90a7f348017200e4.jpg

and what "spec" would that be?

my bet is your alignment is fubar.

You got the paperwork? take a pic and post it.

So you "think" its driving right but really have no clue if your caster is fubar or not.

What I am getting at is that if YOU didn't supply the shop with the proper alignment numbers for a lifted Tacoma they most likely aligned you to stock specks which will be 100% incorrect for a lifted truck.

    Should be

    0* camber
    0* toe
    2.7-3.0* caster

Yes SKIP I know what im talking about and yes so does the shop. They specialize in lifted vehicles and the specs are right. my caster is not "fubar" and my truck is driving right.

then you shouldn't need a "steering stabilizer".

guys are racing these trucks in the desert just fine and you need a steering stabilizer for pot holes.?. seriously?

why not just ask the all knowing shop?

Just trying to help you. Improper caster would do the same thing you are complaining about. Just saying....

IMHO ive had the stabilizers off and on.....with them off it does exactly what he says. With them on the steering is more controllable. I like a nice ride, without the steering wheel trying to jerk out of my hands.

So i may be right??? the stabilizer attaches to your outer tie rod, and a bracket they supply that goes on the frame.
