    buddy of mine's family owned a marina in Annapolis... I made fun of him for it... asked him where his silver spoon was. He said it was on the "poor side" of Annapolis.. :laugh:

    owning a marina is not a "silver spoon" experience. Believe me. I have been stuck doing all the maintenance besides mowing the lawn since I was 14 or 15. Shits getting old. Luckily mom's looking to retire and sell it off. If it wasn't a ton of work I would talk her into keeping it and taking it over, but IMO boats are for suckers or the rich. I am neither.

    the boat mechanic I refer people to works 23hrs a day spring/summer/fall and then goes to his house in Navada for the winter and has off 1/4 the year. Dude makes serious cash.

    The interview with the plastics company was going along pretty good, then they mentioned that they were compiling a list of candidates for future possible openings. I kind of ended the interview there and told them I already had an offer from another company. Called the other place when I got home and set up the indoc with human resources for Monday afternoon. I am officially no longer unemployed. I'll be working second shift, hours are a bit wierd, 4 pm to 2:30 am, Monday thru Thursday. Since I'm a night owl anyway, that won't be a problem. Pay is going to be enough for me not to worry about being able to keep this house. I had been considering getting something smaller, but Jodi never really warmed up to that idea. I'm really going to miss being a bum, but it had to end sometime.:eek:

    Yeah, they have a new building going up, said it would probably be 6 or 8 months until they start hiring. I asked them to give me a call then if they were still interested just in case the medical place isn't working out for me.
