My boss doesn't push Jim, he's just a pain in the ass. He's got CRS sometimes and at times it can get to be frustrating:frusty:. One of my co-workers said "the only thing shorter than his penis is his memory." So when he's off (which is very rare) it's like a day off for all of us.:taco::kona::bananadance::woot:

Morning all...Welcome Brad, pull up a rocker on the porch and relax...alot of different discussions goin' on in here. Enjoy.

Welcome Brad. Pull up a chair and get a cold frosty one from the cooler. ;)

Yesterday was not kind to me. I brought a new pair of boots on Saturday morning and was wearing them while working on a new garden. I noticed my right big toe felt uncomfortable so I took off the shoe and sock only to discover my toenail was discolored. I have an appointment with the foot doc this morning and I think he will be removing the toenail. This is the same toenail I had to have removed this past January for the same type of injury.

I believe I know what caused the problem, need to keep the toenail clipped better, and also the root cause, I had a laddar drop on the toe back in the early 70's. I want to talk to the doc about prevention when the new toenail grows back in.

Back from the docs. We are trying to save the nail. There was a blood blister under the toenail. He drained the blister and put a bandage on the toe. I have a perscription for an antibiotic. Gonna take it easy for the rest of the day,

I did talk to him about the laddar and he said that was not the cause. I must have put pressure on the toe when working on the garden yesterday.

You at work today Susan? You seem to be on line which normally you are not.

Trying to stay out of the old folks talk on all the ingrown things ... Also cant see camping with 44 kids. Camping to me now is the Days Inn.... Just as soon put a round in my foot as sleep on the ground with 44 kids making sounds over every little noise in the woods... That would be so much fun :(... Jim

    :spy:

 all this talk of ingrown nail and I caught a short video on the Dr's - a doc trimming a girl's nail.... gave me the willies... I can look at some stuff, but

Camping with 44 kids  I guess that would depend on how many grown ups were along and the age of said kids  I'd need an air mattress or cot... no sleeping on the ground for me anymore

Well, that's a long story. I was supposed to retire this year but a couple of really nice jobs came along so I moved my retirement back a few months.

I've spent most of the summer camped out, except for weekends, forty miles from the nearest town and twenty miles from the nearest paved road.

It's really nice to get back to "civilization" again. :D
