where u have the basic lines of the truck and u can look at it and tell its a tacoma but it looks kinda "cartoonish" and "fun". Almost a little sloppy looking with different size lines and with very little detail. Like a rough sketch. U said u did this kinda shit, time to step up or shut up! haha

and whats this about ur truck? I like ur truck, just not ur drawing

Well I went and had my exhaust re-routed this mornin. Had duals out the side and now it's dumped after rear axle so I can throw my spare on there and won't crush my tips at LBL. :D already preparing haha not sure how I'm liking my muffler though....thought a borla xr-1 was supposed to be much louder and deeper??

Hahahaha "Oh hell!" looks, like fun man!

And I found out that we have a mig welder at my dads shop (shop is on our property). My dad doesn't know how to use it, he knows how to get it going but not how to weld. I'm gonna try and teach myself so we'll see how that goes haha. Amy tips? And I wanna fab up some skid plates first, then possibly move on to sliders?

haha. that was my neighbor saying that. he had a Arctic cat prowler and had to use his winch to get me out. i had a winch but it was under water and not as east to get to.

and thats sick man! and what kinda welding do skids involve? unless you don’t bend and have to weld the angles.

Skid plates will not be easy! Its not just welding a bunch of metal together. And tips . . . . . Do u have gas or no gas? Start out with a little thicker metal like 3/16 or 1/4 because it allows for more mistakes without burning holes in it. U will get very frustrated if u use thin metal and burn half of it up. Get a chart also, if the welder doesnt already have one in it ur gonna need a chart that has metal size, wire type, and welder setting (wire speed and volts). Otherwise u will be very lost and spend A Lot of time trying to figure all that out. Make sure u have a solid ground. Make sure u have some lube to put ur tip in. Hold ur tip about 3/4 to an 1” off ur metal. Practice 2 types of patterns: a C motion, pretty much start high and make a C then repeat that motion back up and continue that motion all the way down. The other is a lower case cursive e motion which is basically a loop, try short loops and longer gapped loops, I wouldnt gap them more then a 1/4” though because u will have weak points that look like dips in the weld. Take some pics of ur welds also and I can help u further
