Yeah today I went and got my free tire rotation from Tire Warehouse and I asked them what size socket they used with their torque wrench on my lug nuts. They told me 21mm. I asked because they have something in fine print saying to make sure you have your lug nuts retorqued after driving 25 miles or so. I didn't wanna go back so I will retorque them myself with a 1/2" torque wrench I have at home. They told me to torque them at 110 lbs. For the heck of it when I got home I looked it up in the manual and it says 83 ft.lbf. However it does say 110 N.m I am a little confused. Are they over torquing my lug nuts or is this nothing really to worry about? Thanks.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    80-85 ftlbs is perfect.

+1. one of the main reasons why people get broken studs is from shops over torquing the lugs. the stress weakens the stud which can lead to broken studs.

Over torque can also warp brake rotors
