i drove a little over 1600 miles round trip. i had to transport a couple of props for a guy from around key west to Charlotte. i drove it in my 2011 tacoma. nonstop except for the gas ups of course. no food or drink but a bag of beef jerky and a bottle of water (cant take bathroom breaks haha). but she handled it like a champ! i was beat when i got done though.

I've gone from central Wisconsin to south Texas once, and several times from Cent Wis to south Florida nonstop.

    That's a bitch of a drive, though.

Doesn't this, by its very definition, mean you don't qualify under the "at one time" stipulation?

i drove from north Alabama to Como NC (bout 6 miles from VA state line) its was a touch over 700 if i remember correctly . had to stop 3 times for gas and stop to eat 1 time (bathroom breaks were strategically planned for gas and food breaks) and then of course i came back home, bout 11-11.5 hours one way trip there split between me and 2 other guys in my 05 DC (avg about 20-21 MPG with 3 adults luggage for 4 days and hunting gear, it was all the short bed would hold and all the back driver side seat was full of gear as well), went deer huntin last year brought back a 2 coolers with 7 deer worth of meat. i just got back from disney world with my wife (my father-in-law drove her 07 rav4) and it was 660 miles so pretty close to the farthest, stopped 2 times for gas one for food and one extra for bathroom on the way down. had to make about the same stops on the way back. did manage 29.5 MPG out of the 2.4 loaded down with 4 adults and all their luggage for a week stay, plus 4 cases of drinks and about 20 lbs of junk food.

For several years I ran a route that went from the Joplin, MO area to Portland, ME and back. We would make stops in Connecticut, Road Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and upstate New York. We (driving partner and I) would turn this trip in about 70 hours and would drive about 3,400 miles. This was done by team driving a Volvo 670 Semi pulling a 40 foot trailer. We would leave on Sunday morning and were usually home by noon on Wednesday. As far as truck driving jobs go, this one wasn’t too bad.

About 1500 from Alexandria, VA to Albany, TX. I've gone both directions several times in about 23 hours in the wife's Honda Insight and its only about $80 in gas.

I drove on the same loop of interstate for four and a half hours when my dad was first teaching me how to drive. That was a long time ago, but it's still the longest I've ever driven. I don't really go anywhere, because I don't have time to go anywhere with work.

The way back took aloott longer because i did alot of site seeing. Made it from chicago to CT in one shot tho on the last day, around 900 miles. Then i think i slept for like 24 hours lol. I was 18 and i dont think i would still be able to do that, it was an awesome experience but i wouldnt attempt it again.
