    O don't know if anyone can answer this but I've been trying to understand if 4g means better coverage and a more reliable signal vs 3g? I've been searching and all I can seem to find is that it is a faster service. I want to know if it's better though? I was considering the Iphone 4s for the price but need/want the best phone for reception because Verizon sucks at my place of work.

    Was thinking of switching to At&t but some neighbors told me it's unreliable at home so I guess I'll stick with Verizon.

    Just trying to figure out if it's worth it to get the 5? My wife is content with the 4 since it's free w/contract. So she's kinda giving me crap for wanting to spend $200 on a phone. :eek: But I want my phone to work at work if possible. It' not that I just want the latest and greatest, I just want one that will give me the best reception.

    4G means "4th generation". If you dont get a 4g signal, the phone grabs a 3g signal.

    4G LTE is much faster than 3G. Some people get 4G speeds comparable to their home internet. Signal of course depends where you are and how good your carrier is.

    yeah it may be faster but cant go over certain amount of data or they charge up the ass, try downloading torrents, or streaming 24/7 through your phone .. not happening

    im on the old verizon unlimited data plan, i only have 1400 minutes but never go over them and I have 3 basic phones for my folks and my son and 2 androids for wifey and myself. and since i rooted mine i tether to my tablet all the time FREE …. :)
