    top of the world isn't exactly the highest elevation on the road but it is where the morrison ties into the beartooth highway. find "morrison trailhead" on the map, top of the world is just west of that.

    Yeah, the trailhead looks like it is further west than where the pics I had were taken. Actually back into Montana, not too far east of the jellystone park entrance.

    That spot is a long way to get to for me, unless I go thru the park. Will probably have to go in via Red Lodge and up the Beartooh Highway. :D Either that or pay the park entrance fees and go in the northwest entrance and exit the northeast entrance.

    Lisa, how long are the standard entrance fees YNP good for? Is it one week?

    If there is a width limit it is illegal to take a full sized vehicle on the trail so yes, you should be afraid. ATV's are the largest motorized vehicles that are allowed on width restricted trails.

    And where are you getting the goose lake name? the coords you posted go to Lulu Pass :confused:
