    Morning all,

Just installed my new us speedo custom white speedometer gauge yesterday. Everything was fine and dandy until i was driving it about 10 mins after installation when i started to brake. The speedometer kept dropping, dropping....dropping past zero...all the way down to about 7 oclock. I read my cluster might be screwed or is it a simple reconfiguration?

    Thanks for any help!

Take it apart again, put it back to stock and see if the problem goes away.. Also just check all connections making sure nothing got loose in your installation.

If it was broken needle gears Im assuming it would of never worked for those 5 minutes. But tomorrow is my day off ill take er a part and try to calibrate it again.:annoyed:

Simple fix, turn the speedometer needle counterclockwise (or the side that you feel has resistance to it) all the way around back to zero. That will calibrate it. Same thing for gas and temperature needles if they go coo coo. Spin the needle around the side that has a little resistance on it back to it's proper setting.

by any chance did you happen to take apart the back of the board to the gears... im having a problem with my speedometer and ive taken it apart and its the actual gears back there that wont stay in place and ive tryed using a spring to kind of keep tension on it so it wont pop up and a spacer on the need to keep it from moving off the needle and cant figure it out
