The new chrome hub caps they started putting on the 2012. And i could also do without the 18" wheels in general.

Someone said it earlier..... NERF bars.

Mine came with the bars and skid plate... I can go without the bars, they get in my way most of the time.

The OEM tube steps you talking about? I'm ordering a set with the roof rack tomorrow. It's not too bad is it?

DRLs and the Access cab headrests. I removed the headrests, but i do not feel like messing with the DRLs. So i am going to live with them.

That single "eyebolt" in the bed. the toyota engineers must have been up many late nights to come up with that. Good thing they only put one in, or i might actually might have a use for it. I thought it was there for the dealer to tie the balloons for the year end clearance sale. In the same aisle at the home depot where they got that, only four feet away, they would have found the "D" rings that do have some function.

Yup, they do get your pant legs but I actually bought a set and installed them just as door guards. My wife can open her car door and rest it against my running boards without fear of dinging my door and me going ballistic. I love them for that alone.

I had a 2004 extended cab that I special ordered. Took me six months to get it. Only options were 4x4, V6, A/C, and rear locker. Sadly I sold it right before I moved overseas. I just got back and thought I wanted a Jeep. HUGE MISTAKE. I just went and bought a 2013 DoubleCab TRD 4x4. This isn't nearly the truck my 2004 was. I'm kind of disappointed, but I looked forever for one like my old one. You just can't find them, people hold onto them. That, and the fact that they are now selling for 2k more than I sold mine for 2.5 years ago! WTF!

not sure most of the conversation in this thread includes "accessories"

I would define accessory as something added to the truck at the port/distributor or at the dealership.

Under this description I'd mention two:
    1) Toyoguard Elite. Absolute $699.00 rip-off
    2) SET window tint. $299.00 for tint film on two front side windows...Are you kidding me?

to join the conversation on a broader scale...(as has been the case here)...a few "features" on my Tacoma I'm not too crazy about:
-TRD seats. the extra seat bottom side boulstering will only wear out the fabric quicker from sliding in and out. speaking of fabric, I liked the fabric on my SR5 better.

-the TRD Sport sticker on the bedsides I could do without.

-the power outlet in the bed is kinda worthless. I'd probably rather have the larger storage box.

-the pizza pan sized rear headrests that fold down are weird.

    - the bluetooth jumps on & off occasionally. may be an I-phone issue.

-the lock/unlock chirp. but I fixed it w/ an ear plug.

but I like the truck and most features enough to overlook the picky stuff I noted.

btw, my temp gauge seems to work fine.

idk about the bluetooth thing. my friend has the same prob in his ’11 FJ and he has an android. i would bet the bluetooth system is the same, but could be wrong. and i have used the power outlet a few times.

I tried the power outled once for a shop vac...it sounded weak, so I shut it off and haven't used the outlet since.

If a vehicle nearby has a bluetooth device on the same channel you'll both start interfering with each other.
