I was thinking of selling mine. I think I put 10K on them before taking them off. Has the factory Bridgestone Dueler M/T 265/65-17s, no TPMS or stems though.

How's $250? I almost hate to sell them, but I could use the cash, plus they are sitting around taking up space.

And the shop press, and the bed rack, and the tires... yep, I'd say you're cured :D

Tools don't count , I made the bed rack for free, I traded tires with Miguel . No money involved except to get them mounted and balanced :brianr:
I am looking forward to having on board air . No more spending $5 at a gas station for air .
    I blame Denis

Axle wrap causes wheel hop and it's a common issue with pickups. The combination of the light rear end and the leaf springs is a perfect setting for axle wrap and subsequent wheel hop. You have to be careful with wheel hop because it can lead to a bent or broken axle in extreme cases (more common with dump trucks and big rigs because they have a lot of weight bouncing on their axles when they hop). The cure = traction bars. Better (stronger) leafs will help to an extent but, as John mentioned, he's still got it with his Dakars. I believe Fat Bob's makes a decent traction bar for the Tacoma.

I got the same one Denis has . I forget the name of it but it was cheap on Amazon and it worked great on Sunday . It's just a compressor you hook up to the battery . Not a whole on board air system .

With a simple in-line switch and some plumbing, it could be a complete on board air system :stirthepot:
