    As far as I can remember the last QB San Diego had that was allowed to call/change plays during game was Dan Fouts in the 80's

    Kinda made sense seeing how almost every game he'd rack up 400+ yards

    Ahhh, I long for the "Air Coryell" days of past, the only years of this team that actually made it to the super bowl (even if the 49'ers beat them 51 to 24 IIRC)
