Well, I'm glad I share my photos alot because it looks like I'm going to lose them. If I can't reflash the thing back to stock then I'm likely gonna charge up the 5 pound capacitor and go death sentence on it.

On second thought, maybe I wont have to take it in. I just completely reflashed the phone, it appears to be working. Sonova...

I spotted a certain TW member in my neighborhood off Lakeshore today. I didn't know whose truck it was at first bc I thought it was black not blue, and was wondering who else had that tire carrier/gas can/snorkel. :) From like three blocks away I made an appreciative "OoooOoOOhhh!!" sound that totally weirded out my friend.

I think those bitches might be watching this thread. My Comcrap "neighborhood rep" stopped by this evening. Wanted to "check in" and not sell me anything...WTF? You don't want to sell me something, just come by and give me something?

Thank god the dog was sort of lunging at him. He just gave me a card and said "he'd be in touch".

Wow, big real life day for folks :)

Babytruck, awesome job on confronting her. My family has had their fair share of a version of your circumstance just dealing with family members doing kinda the same thing.

My mother has a saying about one of her sisters that kinda goes like this. "You can give her $500, but she won't have a stick of gum to show for it at the end of the day."

Kinda confused about this one. You mention he really doesn't care, but loves his son, then leaves all in the same statement. What I take from that is he loves himself more than his son and that is not what a father does in my opinion.

I do have a recent experience with someone I work with that fit this, or not if SCRunner typed something wrong in his response.

I have a co-worker that got called up to deploy for about 9 months on short notice (2 weeks lead time). He was ok with finances (house/car/truck/random bills). He was ok with possibly not coming back (will/insurance/benefits). His main concern was what type of education (daycare) his 2 1/2 year old son would get and how a different type or change might affect his development. Bottom line, he was more concerned with his son's upbringing than his own life.

Oh good gawd. And it continues.... (from fb)

"I can not even begin to understand why I am being put through such hard times at my job. My supervisor has it in for me.... lies about things to get me in trouble. When I try to defend myself my boss will not listen he instead gets mad...I go above and beyond what all others have done in this position, I back everyone else up, I get pulled away from my job to help another, then get in trouble when my job does not get done. I wish I could walk in and quit, it is a no win situation for me.....I should not be in tears driving home......I do not understand why must I deal with this..... :("

    My reply:

"It's as if you are being victimized again. Have you pulled your supervisor aside and discussed with her your concerns? Have you asked her to come to you personally and asked her what you can do to be able to function WITH her as a team? Have you requested a meeting with all three of you to get to the bottom of this? Rather than get upset and allow this to affect your life in a negative way, find out how it can be turned into something productive."

Well yeah they do. My department just finished moving to CES from Groupwise. The change meant dropping all their blackberries and everyone now has a 4s.

I use the "hide" feature on FB because I know a "perpetual victim" too, she's actually a victim of her own laziness and irresponsibility, but instead says it's her family's fault, school's fault, coworkers' faults, landlord's fault, life's fault, blah blah blah. We used to be sorta friends but I couldn't keep listening to the BS; it made me feel so incredibly irritated.

We should have these people meet each other, they can have a pissing match about who feels more screwed-over than the other.

People like that get removed from my facebook very quickly. Someone obviously wants a pity party because they're lazy at work and someones coming down on them. I'd tell em to stfu and grow up. On top of that you don't bitch about your work on Facebook, period. Ask em how it would feel if their boss saw that post.

fuck the hide, tell em off and remove them! LoL
