    It seems like the height to width is just right with spidertrax spacers no rubbing on the uca's or frame. My gut feeling is they would be just about perfect for your truck with a little more cutting or a 1" BL.

    i was also looking at some 255/85/16 tires as another option...some of the tires are 33"+

    No worries, been checking out your grill thread and one may be in my future with the Supercharger going on the truck. I got some ideas and was going to PM you about integrating my winch control into it as currently it sits in the stock grill but may have to move based on the S/C cooler.

    I am running 255/85/16 KM2's with very little rub. I have about 3" of lift up front but I haven't done the cab mount or the pinch weld and I hardly trimmed the fenders at all.

    I think you have a chance w/o the BL but it may be the answer if they don't fit. I think they'll serve a good purpose when I do commute 60+ miles a day on them for the winter. I liked my 255's but I like this size better seems there are some good comparisons on the FJ forums as both sizes are popular with them as well, seems like they haven't taken off yet on the Tacomas.

    Figured you would, and I sure you noticed I always try and be a little different it will take fitting the S/C to come up with some final ideas.

    My 255's fit with no rubbing and I had the mudflaps on, I think its all in the offset/backspacing of the wheels that is why I use Toyota wheels they seem to have the best fit.

    Your truck/vidoes and the URD thread are some of the sources of info I found that helped finalize my decision to go with the S/C. I can't wait to get started on it so I can see the end results and have boost. Are you still running the stock clutch or did you upgrade?

    Stock clutch, but I've been eyeing the centerforce dual friction as soon as it finally poops out. It honestly can't really handle the boost, it slips a bit under full throttle. And I'm sure me flooring it all over town when I first got it didn't help...

    Clutch upgrade would definitely be nice, but it isn't strictly required. I'm also stage 2, so you may not have quite as much power ruining it for you. Then again, you're geared down.

    I was thinking you still had the stock clutch, I've had great luck with the centerforce HD that I'm running on my FJ40 so I'll be watching for your clutch upgrade. Currently the truck just turned 103K yesterday so a new clutch will be in the works for the near future although the stock clutch still feels strong I know it won't stay that way for long.

    Yeah, I'm only at 46k, so I've got some time on mine. I kinda can't wait for it to go out though... you'll see once you get it on, you may decide to upgrade sooner rather than later so you can actually get the full benefit of the blower.

    I know it was the same truck, motor, or s/c, but when I s/c'ed my '98 with the TRD s/c my stock clutch lasted all of 3 weeks. And it only had 18k on it. After that I ran a ACT stage 2 clutch and it worked pretty well when I was racing the truck but as soon as I geared as started to crawl the truck it didn't last at all. It hated being feathered. So I went with the Centerforce Dual Friction and it was a great clutch. It handled the power and abuse of wheeling very well. I would highly suggest the Dual Friction.

    Not to thread jack, but in order to make those work you will have to chop the mounts, pound in the pinch weld, and cut about 1" or so out of the fenders/flares. I am goin through this process right now with 305/70/17 MTRs. Cab mounts and pinch weld is done. Just have to cut the fenders/flares. I plan to do the same as n0rth and a few others have with the flares.

    And, to n0rth, keep up the good work! Your truck is killer, and the info in your thread has really helped me out.
