Ya I have a old single shot that I use with the kids so they can learn the fundamentals and a semi that is just fun to shoot. Its funny you hear the bang then you will hear it hit the metal plate down range

Hell yeah! I grew up with an old 22. Here's the one I want to get just to mess around with:
    S&W

    Ruger's version
    [IMG]
As much as I'd like to have their big brothers, I can't justify the cost just to mess with it once in a while at the shooting range. Maybe when I grow up...

In addition though, I'd like to get a decent caliber hand gun. I'm torn between a revolver and a pistol and need to get out and shoot some different models and figure out what I like.

My cousin grew up in Weymouth, he lives in California now and it's the same thing..I remember Hurricane Gloria still as being the worst thing I've seen here, don't too much recall the Blizzard of '78 though.

Never shot a firearm, but I'm a dart player if that counts :) Don't think I could get a license even if I tried thanks to my past.

I was a kid (age 11) for the Blizzard of 78 and it was great. No school plenty of snow to sled and shovel to make money. Ya I know I am old but I am not the oldest here:stirthepot:

Was it hurricane Bob or Gloria that was worse? Either way, Irene is probably the worst we've had since then.

In my little slice of the world, Gloria. I lived in Hingham MA at the time and no power for 3 days, about 4 downed trees including one across my driveway from the front yard (raised about 5 feet from driveway) to the side yard (parallel). Haha..I still remember Mom's Malibu wagon couldn't get under it, but Dad's little Datsun 310 that we all hated could.

Bob, I was 4 in the Blizzard of '78..catching up to you fast :)

I don't remember if it was during Gloria or Bob. I do remember the apartment building I lived in was swaying back and forth, and so was the giant tree across the street that had nowhere to go but toward the building if it fell.

Even 450 isn't bad for wheels, tires and sensors. Those sensors are expensive!
