That honor is reserved for Chevys and Harley's only. Those are the same guys buying 10k dollar front ends. Tires don't matter to them. With the exception of one ford. :p

I'll be setting up a TW meet soon!

His welds are cleaner than my asshole when I accidentally sat on a bouday!

This confused me, cause it says Manufactured in the USA, yet the post I saw Mark McNeil was tagged on the pic as if he was a part of this deal and we all know McNeil is Hecho En Mexico

Just a FYI on the subject of shocks last night, I talked to both King and Sonny from DSM today. Both said the same thing, bottom out the IFP.
Just hit the schrader with air and it will bottom out the piston where it needs to be. After filling it with oil getting all the air bubbles out when you insert the the seal cap it will force the oil down into the resi and push the IFP off the line end cap. This method removes risk of hydrolocking, gives a nice nitrogen cavity, and is the most consistent way to rebuild (if you're rebuilding often).

That is the "safest way" to do it I guess, but you don't need the full 12'' of resi for displacement. I have alway done mine and LOTS of other shocks at 2/3 down, never had a problem

So I just gotta give it up for DSM once again.
I got my rebuild kits and started rebuilding them yesterday. Come to find out not all of the o-rings matched up to what I had. I called Sonny this morning, sent him some pictures and he quickly called me back that I have some custom hybrid bypasses. The rebound tube and valve is prerunner series while the compression tube and valve is pure race series. Apparently this is unique to Giant's "link killer" shocks.
He boxed up the o-rings I needed to complete the rebuild and even sent me a couple of free bleed plug screws for a different shock endeavor, all at no charge.

Assuming you are talking about 5 lug that you've posted on before...

5 lug bushings are not made by anybody, just have to get a new rack.

Voodootrip tried a few times to get Energy to cut bushings for these trucks but got nowhere (few years ago). I recently tried again to source some and nobody did it. Ended up replacing rack with a Lifetime warranty one from Autozone so i can just swap as needed.

Good bit of info on this subject on CustomTacos but it never carried over here due to lack of 5 lug 1st gen guys here. I dont remember the difference between the Prerunner bushings and 5lug now but everybody repeatedly came up with answer that said they were different

What is weird is that the Poly Performance one says it is for 96-02 tacos and 96-02 Prerunner/4wd tacos. This would lead one to believe that they fit 5 lugs but Im not 100% sure. You may want to give them a call Jeff.

Worst case you replace the rack like I did and that covers the rack, bushings, and inner tie rods. I guarantee you will blow all 3 being a LT 5 lug. Makes the 150ish bucks (I believe that was cost) worth it. Tie rods especially go bad on my truck with larger tires.

When i replaced my rack I actually sold my old one for core cost to Brian at American Motorsports as he was going to dig into it and try to find a way to build them up better. Havnt heard anything on that though and it was a year ago so yeah.
