Yes and do not count on any additional information.

Do not count on that happening any time soon.

Reminds me of this quote from A.E. Numan

You can fool some of the voters all the time; all the voters some of the time; but you can only make monkeys out of the voters once every 4 years.

With both of the parties in this election what they do not say is most important.

My take is that there is close to 20 trillion dollars needed to balance the budget. It has to come from somewhere. With the Dems it will come from an increase in taxes across the board. With the Republicans it will come from an increase in taxes to the middle class and a decrease in services/ and or what they call entitlements. Either way we get screwed again.

Still I would rther live in the good ol USA anyday.

    Here's another tidbit.
Battery maker A123 filed for bankruptcy on Tues.
In 2009 they received $249 million in fed funding.
AH!, what the heck. What's a couple hundred million here and there!
Just seems to be happening alot.

Worries me as well Carl. Seems like there is no accountability these days when federal money is spent.

$249 million is a rounding error for the federal government - they don't seem to care much until we're talking billions...and een then it seems not to count much since we haven't had a budget in 4 years.

I don't remember where I saw this, maby on here, but I had to chuckle when I read it.
Yes; 2 terms. 1 term in office, second term in prison for what they did while in office!
Hope I don't get the "naughty boy award" for posting that!

    LOL Jim

True Story. I was at Daytona Beach in February of 1970. It was 33 degrees and raining. I thought it was going to snow.

    Back again!
Beginning to look like an ARSENAL on here!:D
Mark: Looks like a .303 jungle carbine in pic.. How does that shoot?
Wanted one of them, yrs. ago, when, I think, WT Grant sold them for $19.99, but didn't pick one up. Ended up with a sporterized enfield rifle.
Still wish I would have gotten one, but now have enough of other carbines.

Carl - yes, 1945 BSA all matching with a nice bright bore...they are normally sewer pipes with the corrossive ammo. It shoots beautifully - I plan to start reloading for .303 Brit next as I perfect my 7.62X 54r technique.

I has no gun. Never figured I needed one but that could change.

Good morning Jim. Yup a lot of people think it never gets cold in Florida but it does.

My son's first choice for a high school is St. Johns College High School in Washington DC. He wants to be a part of the JROTC program. We are actually encouraged by his decision. However the cost is almost as bad as college. I need to schedule an appointment with our financial advisor to get a plan together for removing funds from our accounts to pay for the school.

Evening all...I only have 2 guns, but my son has his fair share. I believe in the "There is a old saying, Beware the person with only one gun he likely knows how to use it." But shooting is a fun sport. Used to hunt, but gave it up for a warm weather hobby...scuba diving.
