Wassup peeps, I'm moving to Vegas in about 2 days to go to college (incoming freshman) and I'm basically getting a headstart on saving up for a lift kit. I got an 07 DSM and I'm wondering are there any reliable, trustworthy places/ people that may be able to help me out with a lift kit? Shipping my truck from Guam to California costs about 3-4 grand so that will probably put me in the gutter for a while. It'll probably take me a bit to save up ,but I need to know how much I am looking at just for labor (i know the price of the parts) not to mention that I have to drive all the way out there just to pick up my chick magnet.

    Stuff, that thing, more stuff.

There's a couple of places and people that you can source parts and labor from. The kit you end up going with will determine the labor involved, and whether or not it's doable in a garage or if it needs a shop. That's just my .02

    And welcome to Vegas.

It could work for me....but, since I will be of absolutely no help to the project it really doesn't matter. :-D

Ok i know this sounds crazy but does anyone have a suspension that I can borrow that way we dont have to stay there for that long? I trying to see how to cut on the spending. Thinking taking it and then switching there and the here..Ray thoughts? or is it just easy to do both at the same time?

Omg ladies, making it more difficult than it already is. Just do it all one shot. Beth can be the designated loiterer. Seeing as how I'm the only one going with experience Carlos will just be eye candy for the guy he's buying the lift from.

Guam chelu, like stated before, depends on the kit. Is ur truck 4wd? N how bad is the rust? Did they under coat everything w rust proofing? This will be challenging.

Did you just suggest that you swap your suspension out for another suspension, before you go swap suspensions?

And also in regards to cost, if you do it on a weekend I can tag along, I can probably get rooms for $39-59... Just an offer.

My only question/concern is; is the title "designated loiterer" a demotion or promotion?
