RE: Angry Orchard Hard Cider, I wouldn't say it's like Mikes... there's certainly less of a sweet taste. Angry Orchard makes a few different versions, two of the most popular are Crisp Apple, and Traditional Dry. We like the traditional dry, it's more like champagne and less like apple'y. The Crisp Apple seems to be more sweet, if you're going to try it I would recommend the traditional dry if you are concerned it will be too sweet.

^ OK. I doubled the recipe except I only added one bag of dark chocolate chunks and it was definitely enough. I now have a TON of cookies for my friend's birthday!

They are sweet and sorta get caramelized like toffee. I actually think they're too sweet, but I'm strange. My neighbor really likes them!

They don't but I used refined coconut oil, which has no coconut taste and is actually what I usually cook meat & veggies in.

If I made these again, I'd skip the chocolate chips and do raisins, extra cinnamon, nutmeg, & cloves instead, in order to make almond-oatmeal-raisin cookies. Mmm... But these are perfect for my chocolate-loving friends. :)

GF dinner...chicken in a white wine & butter sauce (little overcooked, oops!) and topped with a little Parmesan, asparagus, and corn cakes. SO full right now...but debating on having another corn cake because it was so yummy

I actually do need help, I am looking at between 50 and 75 people. I have either 2 or 3 people that are coming over Saturday and throwing themselves on the sword to be a part of Yes Chef. They did help at another party so I know that they will be able to handle it. I am going to be doing the meat for the party everything else is going to be farmed out. I am smoking, grilling and roasting everything from ribs to chicken to turkey, brisket,ribeyes.... etc. Its going to be fun and there are going to be 4 or 5 other TW members attending so hopefully there will be lots of pics.... I am getting anxious right now thinking about the entire process.

I've hada few of those soups. Wasn't a fan of any of the flavors.

On the other hand, my sister made s'more cupcakes. Never would have guessed they were gluten free.

Hey Errbody! Not 100% positive but I am pretty sure I am gluten intolerant. Been GF for about 2 weeks now and I already feel/look better. I sure am missing quite a few things though. :(

Hey Mario! Stick with it for another month or so; you'll feel even better. Meanwhile, find a Whole Foods grocery store and check out their Gluten Free Bakehouse products. They have an entire bakery in NC dedicated to GF baking, and they turn out some tasty stuff.

I've been GF for nine years this month, and there is so much more available today for us. If you're missing something in particular, post and ask.

It'll get easier, kid, I promise. Besides you have me to help out :)

If the choices are eat whatever you want and feel like poo or feel great and miss out on a few foods I choose the latter option.

 Three years for me. I can't imagine what it would have been like to start this diet any earlier...3 years ago it was almost impossible to find GF stuff. Now every grocery store has a section dedicated to it. I still have to go to 3 or 4 stores to get everything I need as no one store carries it all but at least its out there!
