What is this thing behind my glovebox ?
    airbag ? hvac ?
can I run cables across it ?

Can I mount stuff my A/V stuff to it ?
I'm trying to find a good place to mount my hdradio, I had to put it in my glovebox for now.

HD300 hd radio thing is pretty big. A book shaped the size of your hand with fingers together.
    pic and details

is it safe to mount/run cables or no way?

I think I could mount under the seat but wire length is an issue.
yellow and black are no problem, I can make extensions but.
The antenna wire is limited length ( is there an extension cable ? )
The cd changer wire is limited length ( is there an extension for that ? ) I couldn't find any at my local frys which has a lot of cabling.

not sure what to call the cable that plugs into the changer input...

I thought about that, but realized my truck didn't have enough jigawatts.
So after I counted that out, I thought maybe it was just a widget.

Not sure about installing around the fan box/filter box.... I would think quite a bit of head would get generated around that box... probably not good for it.

Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
I find that head is only generated around a box if you play with it first. Otherwise, you just get condensate on the tip.
