Read the tacked threads. You are in way over your head and need to spend a few hours building a basic understanding of suspension components before anything we talk about will make sense.

To start - you cannot use a standard TC UCA as part of a TC LT kit. Two different lengths.

I read on this forum and about LT for 3 months before I bought my components. And the only mistake I made (which wasn't too bad) was that I bought the Giant 12" shackles.

You're a handy guy...I have absolute faith you can fix them into something better than Giant could ever think of.
Cut them into two pieces and ditch the center section that's banging your frame. Run some angle iron down the outsides of each side of the shackle to a piece of DOM where each bolt will run thru. Easy and nearly free fix.

Thanks! And yeah, I'm gonna take them apart or make new ones when I take apart my leafs to do shock placement/bed cage/ all that stuff.
Truck goes in friday to get a new rear main seal, then I can run it without worrying about dripping oil everywhere.

Not to be like ^^^, but Im going to upgrade my suspension soon.
I want to run Fox 8" up front valved at 70/30 with 2.5" of preload and 600lb King Springs, but my question is if they would work with Camburg 1.25" UCA's, OEM LCA's, extended brake lines and Wheelers Front bumps? Would the OEM LCA's be a problem.

If not then I would go...
    Front:
    SAW 2.0 Coilovers w/ 650lb springs
    Camburg 1.25 LCAs
    AP/Wheelers Extended Brake Lines
    Wheelers SuperBumps

    Rear:
    AP Expo Leaves
    AP U-Bolt Flip
    Bilstein 5165's 12"?, 170/60 or 275/70 Valving?

Ball joints only cycle so far. You could try to stuff a 8" c/o in the stock lca but Good luck. The arms of a lt setup are extended inorder to fit a bigger c/o

Im ditching the UCA balljoints for sure. I was wondering about the LCA ones, is there a way to swap them with Uni's?

You've already figured out your valving

So you have plans to run a Engine Cage, because I don't see there being anyway of stuffing an 8" In there effectively without severely limited uptravel. Buy an OEM Replacement C/O and be done with it, Call DSM and they can alter the valving if required

Ive called DSM, but I don't see the point of Spending $1400 on 4"? I know I would have to limit uptravel if I would go with an 8" setup. But I don't want to get LCA's right now or an engine cage. I also don't want to trash some ball joints or fenders...

I know, I know. Ive read it. The question was if it was possible.
How does this mid travel set up look?
The only final questions I have are the Bilstein 5165 valving, Im thinking the softer 170/60, or is the rebound pretty low? Are there any other cheaper options on mid travel C/o, possibly Resis?

Or should I just get this to get more travel?.......JK:D
