I'm getting ready to move to a friends house 45 minutes away and start training with him and his fight club. They do a lot of MMA style training which is basically cross fit. I've lost 10 pound in the 2 weeks from working with them Monday, Wednesday, Friday's supplementing my lifting and cardio. The cross fit has really helped bust my plateau. I'm sitting pretty at 230 didn't work out as much over the summer as I should have but damn working in the heat all day takes it out of you. Fuck that, I'll be getting back at it soon.

Well, cut the carbs and grab your running shoes. Eat fruit and lean meats, run your ass off and do HIT training. You can lean mass build, but you've gotta eat to do that. And you will gain some fat...its what happens. You don't have to gain shit loads of it, but you've gotta eat tons.

Cool. Thanks for the advice:thumbsup: I dont completely understand the HIT training tho. Is that doing a last set at a lower weight till you cant lift anymore? Or is it say like flat bench and a certain weight as many times as you can and thats it for flat bench and move on to a different exercise?

High Intensity Interval Training or High Intensity Training.

High reps low rest time. More volume. Interval training is more along the lines of crossfit. Its science that interval training cardio burns more fat then sitting your ass there for days and days. Don't fall for that trap.

Anything high intensity will assist with the fat burn. Its a short burst of a workout with a short rest, minimizes muscle loss.

Don't cut carbs, they're just as important to muscle growth as protein. And almond butter over peanut butter.
