    Would it be effective to do a high rep set after doing 3 or 4 heavy sets? And ya i feel like a lazy ass if i'm not at the gym or playing co-ed soft ball on the weekends.
    How's the almond butter taste?

    Almond butter is tasty!!!

    Try 10 sets of 6 reps at 70% of your 1 rep max and then cut that weight in half and do reps to failure. :cool:

    I love it, everyday for breakfast I eat a bowl of organic oatmeal with a huge spoon of the fresh ground almond butter from whole foods. Its good enough that it makes me excited to get out of bed.

    the bench press is not a typical exercise in crossfit. they probably don't bench that often. plus, a true test of upper body strength is how much weight one can pick up off the group and lift above their head...such as the clean and press

    IMO, the amount of weight the are overhead squatting is far far more impressive than if they were to be benching 500+ lbs

    Definitely a true statement. To be able to take 350 lbs from behind the neck and push it up then squat below 90* blows any bench competition out of the water.

    I wish I could go up to some juiced out meat head in the gym and be like hey brah, how much can you one rep max on bench? Oh yea? I can one rep max that on a press jerk over head squat.

    Boom, juice head fail.

    ^^^ word. i'm almost able to overhead squat 185# comfortably for reps... then i saw that video and i feel like i'm playing with the neon colored, rubber coated ladies weights haha

    Ya that over head press and squat was nuts. Thats one thing i wanna work on but my gym doesnt have anything like that to where you can drop the weights. :frusty:
    hahaha ya but if he's really juiced out his one rep max will probably pretty damn high. But anyone else you'd probably make em look like a chump.

    Eh who the fuck cares how high his bench is, its his signature move to get the ladies, the gym rat ladies.

    Press jerk over head squat is a crossfit girl panty dropper move I would imagine.
