i don't think they're on the juice... and the bench press, while it is considered an oly style lift which CF is partially based on... it's more of a "bodybuilding" type of move. crossfit is functional fitness... what does a big overly build chest get you? not a whole lot.

i work out at the gym i work at... we don't have bumper plates either... which sucks ballz (although i think we should be getting some soon) but that doesn't stop me from doing those types of moves... you just have to control the weight more and not totally separate from the bar once your lift is complete.

Instead of a popcorn smiley, we need a PB eating smiley for this thread.

I've been working out my calves 2-3 times a week in between sets. I don't have a calf day (doing the ohearns work out)

Is this benificial since working calves 1 a week never gave gains?

Try it in oatmeal, it'll change you! I prefer fresh peanut butter to eat by itself or with apples, but AB in oatmeal is one of my favorite meals.

    Well put sir.
Ya i could do that. We also have those foam pads to lay on and protect your knees and stuff so I guess I could just double up on those. I mean the floor is that thick rubber padding too.

Love me some good BCAA's. VPX power shock or Scivation Xtend are the best.

Very good for intra workout beverage.

Just started taking BB.com's generic unflavored BCAA and Glutamine.....it wouldn't hurt to get extra!

best thing about unflavored bcaa you can mix it with your shake post work out or even a smoothie on an off day.
