Your welcome and thank you. I did my other 4 wheel set before and used 200 grit and 400 grit but they always seemed to chip the paint so easily. That's why I wanted something better. But yes I'll do those steps and see what happens. I hope they come out good lol.
Thanks dude. I'll have to get that and see how well it does. Taking time off of the sanding process is always good lol

That's true they can. I use the steel brush on my steel Tacoma wheels. It deff took some time off of the sanding but was still long. Even though I thought I sanded the wheels good, they still chipped alittle. Idk

I would take your time over the winter to prep and paint the wheels for better weather (no salt and sand). When painting go light coats dont put it all on at once

And look for better quality paint. Most rattle can paint is soft and will chip off easily. Look for an enamel or even better, automotive paint. It'll cure to a harder finish and provide greater resistance to chipping.

That's why I said they irk me, not everyone who's ever seen those wheels starts bleeding profusely from their eyes.... Lol

Post it in the classifieds, otherwise, this is pretty much all the NH/MA/RI guys who'd want those wheels for local pickup

The TRD sport rims should fit a '97 4Runner right? I have a guy at work interested in buying them.

Just wrapped up a pretty solid afternoon.

Finished wiring up my mirror defrost mod and cleaned up all my wiring for my power rear slider and nav system.

While I had the dash torn apart, I figured, what the F, might as well pull the TPMS led. So I pulled apart the spedo and used a soldering iron to pull the TPMS led. Pretty pumped
