Which could also be said for the people who take things on the internet too seriously. Ive always thought forums aren't a great a place for people who can't handle differing opinions or the fact everyone isn't handing out blow jobs and kittens and singing campfire fire songs. Don't get me wrong I understand wanting a friendly welcoming environment but to be a taddle tail and report someone for being mean to you on the internet is just ridiculous. Unless someone is threatening you or something and not just being an asshole that's going to sugarcoat everything. Like I said above I've had people say uncalled for complete dickhead things to me but at the end of the day I wouldn't even think to report that I could give 2 shits about what an anonymous person on the internet thinks of me.

I don't get the impression that "tattling" had much to do with this banning. From looking at his post history, the guy had nearly 36 **THOUSAND** offences under his belt. Nearly every one of them was some kind of underhanded (or plain and obvious) attack, and not very much (if any) substance.

It is surely difficult for the administration to "miss" that.

Member for 3 years minus 2 months, 1035 days. That makes 36 hateful posts per day EVERY day for 3 years. That's whacked.

Obviously it won't always be its just a matter of someone not letting it get to them. I mean its almost a daily occurrence you see someone responding with "Jesus christ can't you search! In response to a repeated question by a newb. With how many members and posts on this site you're never going to completely avoid the issue. Same way you're never going to avoid people starting repeat threads for basic questions.

My point was really just that while you want the friendly environment you're never going to 100% get that. If someone is going to let 1 out of 50,000 registered users get to them they probably won't last long on any forum.

Heh heh, funny post (reply was regarding picture of a babe with nearly nothing on). Might explain something though. Studies do indicate that there is a negative relationship between anger/frustration/aggression, and sex. I.e., if you're getting some, you're generally a happier person, and/or if you're an angry person, you might have a hard time getting some.

Yea, and unfortunately for him I think most had an opinion of either liking or hating and he was to the point where people were more likely to bitch about him than some average Joe that just blends into the masses here.
